Company History

AT Software – the result of merger of two leading Russian software development companies: Lanit-Tercom (Saint-Petersburg) and Artezio (Moscow).

 

1991 – Foundation of SE Tercom. The company was founded on the basis of Mathematics and Mechanics Faculty of St Petersburg State University owing to the efforts of the head of Software Engineering Chair – Andrey N. Terekhov. What was really important is that the company has been forming on the basis of Software Engineering chair, at that time one of the most rapidly developing departments of the faculty, a great pool of future technical specialists. This fact played significant role in company's future professional success as we had access to highly educated and promising students who continued their career in our company.

 

1992 - First big contracts are singed with Italtel and SEER Technologies.

 

In 1998 the Tercom company became a part of LANIT holding – a leading provider of IT services in Russia – and changed its name to Lanit-Tercom.

 

In 1999 – Lanit-Tercom took the lead in establishing FORT-ROSS, a consortium that united leading IT-companies from Saint-Petersburg. In the same year Lanit-Tercom actively cooperated with new-born association of software developers as one of its founders, with Andrey Terekhov elected as one of co-chairs of the association.

 

2000 – Artezio establishment, Moscow.

 

In 2003 Artezio gained first general acceptance, being presented at Top-100 largest Russian IT-companies (RBK version), later on, international analytical company Gartner, put Artezio in the list of 10 biggest Russian offshore developers.

 

2004 – Lanit-Tercom became a member of Scandinavian Group that represents the interests of leading Russian software companies on the Scandinavian market and became one of the first companies that took part in it’s activity.

 

In 2005 Artezio became a member of LANIT group.

 

In 2007 Artezio launched several ODCs in Saratov, Minsk, Vitebsk and Mogilev. By then, the company had the biggest java-developers staff in Russia.

 

2008 – merger of Lanit-Tercom and Artezio.

 

July, 1, 2008 AT Software established; result of the merger of Lanit-Tercom and Artezio.
